Calling

Transcripts, summaries and searching what was said

Read a call instead of replaying it, and find the one you need by what was said.

On the Plus and Unlimited plans, every recorded call gets a transcript and a short summary a few moments after it ends. You can read a call instead of replaying it, and search your history for the one that mentioned a particular thing.

Read a call

  1. Open History.

  2. Each row's Content column shows the call's summary heading, with a transcript icon beside it.

  3. Click the row. The call opens with the summary at the top and the full transcript underneath, labelled by who said what.

Voicemails work the same way, under the Voicemail filter.

Find a call by what was said

Type a word or phrase into the search box at the top of History, "invoice" say, and the list narrows to the calls that mention it. Open one and jump to the moment.

Tags

Add a tag to any call with + Add tag in the row. Tags are your own labels, "complaint", "quote sent", "callback", and the Tag filter brings back everything carrying one.

Turn transcription on or off

Transcription and summaries are an account feature. An admin switches them on under Settings > Global settings > Account settings > Allowed features > Call transcription & summarisation. Voicemail transcription has its own switches under each person's Settings > Voicemail.

Good to know

  • Transcripts follow the recording's retention: a month on Metered if recording is on, 12 months on Plus, 3 years on Unlimited.

  • Transcription and summarisation run on Olatti's own infrastructure in UK data centres. Nothing is sent to a third-party AI service.

  • Accents, speakerphones and crosstalk lower accuracy. If a transcript matters, listen to the recording too.
