Record calls, and pause recording when you need to
How call recording works on Olatti, where recordings live, and how to pause during card details.

Olatti records calls automatically when recording is switched on for your account. Every recording sits in History next to the call it belongs to, with the transcript and summary if your plan includes them.
Turn recording on or off
Recording is an account-wide feature. An admin switches it on under Settings > Global settings > Account settings > Allowed features > Call recording. Once it's on, calls in and out of the business are recorded.
Find a recording
Open History.
Find the call. Filter by Missed, Voicemail, Type, Tag or Date, or search by number, contact or tag.
Click the play button on the row to listen, or click the row to open the call with its transcript and summary.
Pause during sensitive details
On the Plus and Unlimited plans you can pause a recording mid-call, for example while a customer reads out card details, and resume afterwards. The pause and resume control is in the call window while the call is live. The gap shows in the recording as silence.
How long recordings are kept
After that they're deleted. Download anything you need to keep for longer.
Good to know
You're the controller of the recordings. Olatti stores them for you, but it's your responsibility to record lawfully, which in the UK usually means telling people they may be recorded. See Recording calls lawfully.
Who can listen. Each person chooses which admins can access their recordings, transcripts and summaries under Settings > Calls > Call content visibility.
Where they're processed. Recording, transcription and summarisation run on Olatti's own infrastructure in UK data centres, not a third-party service.
