Global settings is where an admin sets things for the whole account rather than one person. It has two pages: Account settings and Default user settings.

Account settings

Account name is your company name as it appears in Olatti.

Allowed features are the switches that turn a capability on or off for everyone:

  • Call monitoring: lets authorised colleagues listen to each other's calls in real time.

  • Call divert: lets people forward their calls to another number.

  • Call park: lets people park a call in a shared zone for a colleague to pick up.

  • Call recording: records calls in and out of the business.

  • Automatic meeting recording: records meetings as soon as people join.

  • Call transcription & summarisation: turns call and voicemail audio into text.

  • Analytics: the call dashboards.

Switch one off and the option disappears for everyone, whatever their own settings say.

Music on hold is what callers hear when put on hold. Pick a sound or upload your own. See Change the music on hold.

Default caller ID is the number people present when they don't have a direct dial number of their own. Click Change to pick another number on the account.

Call monitoring lists who may monitor whom. Click Manage call monitoring to change it.

Default user settings

These are the starting values for every new person: their call settings, such as call waiting, and their notifications. Each section has a Users can edit this section switch. Leave it on and people can change their own; turn it off and the account's choice applies to everyone.
