Introduction to Olatti

What Olatti is, where it runs, and what to do in your first ten minutes.

Olatti is a business communications platform for UK teams. It gives your business real phone numbers, calling, messages and video meetings in one place, on your desktop, your mobile, the web and a desk phone if you want one.

What you get

  • A real UK business number for the company, and a direct number for anyone who needs one. Port the numbers you already have, free.

  • Calling that starts from the keyboard. Press ⌘K (or Ctrl+K on Windows), type a name, press Enter. The mouse works too.

  • Calls recorded and transcribed, with a summary, on the Plus and Unlimited plans, so you can find a call by who you spoke to and read what was said.

  • Messages beside your calls. Direct messages and channels, with files and voice notes.

  • Video meetings you can start in one click and share with people outside the company.

  • Call flows you build yourself: opening hours, a menu, ring groups, voicemail. Change them any time.

  • Voicemail with transcripts sent to your email.

  • Analytics on missed calls and who's handling what.

Where it runs

Olatti runs in your browser at app.olatti.com, as a desktop app, as an iPhone and Android app, and on supported Yealink desk phones. Your calls, messages and history are the same on every device, and you can move a live call from your desk to your phone without the other person noticing.

Your first ten minutes

  1. Sign in at app.olatti.com.

  2. Check your microphone and speaker in Settings > Audio and video.

  3. Press ⌘K, type a colleague's name and press Enter.

  4. Install the desktop app from the download icon at the top right, and the mobile app from the banner.

  5. If you're the admin, invite your team from Settings > User management.

Good to know

Calls over the internet depend on power and a working connection. For 999 and 112, keep another way to call, and make sure the address registered against your number is where you actually are. See Emergency calls on Olatti.
