Switch a live call to another device

You're on a call at your desk and you need to leave. Switch it to your mobile, walk out, and the person on the other end never knows.

Steps

1. During the call, press Switch device in the call window.

2. Choose the device to move to: your mobile, the desktop app or a desk phone.

3. That device rings. Answer it.

The call leaves the first device only once you've answered on the second, so there's no gap and nothing to explain.

From a desk phone

The same works the other way. On a Yealink desk phone, send the call to your laptop or mobile mid-sentence, and pick up there.

Good to know

• Both devices need to be signed in to your Olatti account and online. Check under Settings > Profile > Devices.

• The recording, if the call is being recorded, carries on across the switch as one recording.

• If the second device doesn't answer, the call stays where it was.
