How long we keep your data

Retention periods for recordings, messages, account records and what happens after you leave.

Different kinds of data are kept for different lengths of time. Here's the list.

While you're a customer

Data	Kept for
Call recordings and transcripts	1 month on Metered, 12 months on Plus, 3 years on Unlimited
Meeting recordings	1 month on Plus, 3 years on Unlimited
Voicemails, messages, contacts, call history	For as long as your account is open
Billing records	At least 6 years, as the law requires

You have 30 days after termination to export your content and port out your numbers.
Content is deleted normally within 90 days of termination.
Credit is held for 90 days, then forfeited.
Billing records stay for the legal period.

Deleting a conversation in Messages removes it for you; it doesn't shorten anyone else's retention.
