Two minutes under Settings > Audio and video saves you from the "can you hear me?" start to a call.

Steps

  1. Go to Settings > Audio and video.

  2. Microphone: pick the one you'll speak into. Say something and watch the level meter move.

  3. Speaker: pick where you want to hear calls. Click Test to play a sound through it.

  4. Ringtone: pick which device plays the ring. If you wear a headset, set this to your laptop speakers so you hear calls when the headset is off.

  5. Camera: pick one for video meetings. The preview shows what others will see.

  6. Click Save.

Good to know

  • Your browser asks for microphone and camera permission the first time. Allow it, or Olatti can't hear or see you.

  • Plug in a new headset and it appears in the lists. Pick it and save; Olatti doesn't switch automatically.

  • Each device you sign in on has its own audio settings.
